Steven Hubina is a Director at Certum Group, where he focuses on litigation funding modeling, acquisition due diligence, and integration efforts related to the firm’s M&A activity. He also contributes to investment analysis and operational initiatives that support Certum’s litigation finance platform and portfolio companies.

Steven brings more than 15 years of experience in financial planning, corporate strategy, and transaction analysis across financial services, hedge funds, and technology. Prior to Certum, he was Commercial Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at Rizing, where he supported the due diligence process and developed the acquisition model for the company’s $550M sale to Wipro. His earlier roles include senior finance positions at Castleton Commodities International and AQR Capital Management, as well as at American Express, where he managed financial planning for its $100B U.S. Corporate Payments business.

Steven holds an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School and a B.S. in Finance from the University of Connecticut, where he graduated magna cum laude.
