Kirstine Rogers

Legal Director

Kirstine Rogers is a Legal Director at Certum Group where she focuses on underwriting litigation finance opportunities and other risk transfer solutions, including affirmative asset recovery opportunities and contingent risk insurance. Kirstine serves on the steering committee of Women of Litigation Finance (WOLF) and has been named as one of Lawdragon Global’s 100 Leaders in Litigation Finance. She regularly writes and speaks at industry and legal conferences about issues affecting the litigation finance market.

Kirstine brings with her more than 20 years of litigation experience on all sides of the “v” which she uses to evaluate risk. She has been an associate in the trial department of one of the oldest and most respected law firms in Texas, a partner at a commercial litigation boutique where she represented both plaintiffs and defendants in complex cases, and a career law clerk in the Eastern District of Texas, one of the busiest federal dockets in the nation. Kirstine’s experience in the court system provides a unique perspective into what matters affect the disposition or resolution of a case.

Kirstine received her B.A. with high honors from Southern Methodist University and her J.D. with honors from the University of Texas School of Law.

Kirstine’s legal work has led to her being recognized by her peers for D Magazine’s Best Lawyers in Dallas, Best Lawyers in America, and Best Lawyers Women in the Law Business Edition. Kirstine also served as an adjunct professor in trial advocacy at the SMU Dedman School of law for a number of years. She also currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Dallas Area Rape Crisis Center and is an active member of other local legal and charitable associations.


She is also a champion of diversity and inclusion in the litigation finance industry.
